This phenomenal get-away in the Outer Banks is conveniently located just a short walk (300 feet) from the beach. It is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills (milepost 9) which is also the home of the Wright Brother's Monument. It is only a short drive from Jockey's Ridge and the Outlets, as well as walking distance from multiple eateries, surf stores and cozy stores.
Barefootin' is a two level duplex . Each level has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms as well as a queen size sleeper couch in the family room, completely equipped eat in kitchen and washer/dryer. It is equipped with a total of 6 T.V.s, three DVD players, DVD library, game system, games and puzzles. A gas grille, corn hole boards, outdoor table and chairs, beach chairs, infant pool and sand toys are also available for your convenience. An advantage of renting Barefootin' is that the units can comfortably accommodate two or more families. It is also one of the few homes that can be rented for less than a week (3 nighttime minimum). Also, linens for the beds and towels are complimentary with the rental.(We do not provide beach towels, however.)
This is the ideal choice for 2-4 families visiting together. It accepts privacy but in close proximity to each other. The lower level has handsome tile floors with throw rugs in each room for comfort. It is decorated with a 'beachy' flare. The den has a comfortable couch (pull out queen couch sleeper) and loveseat with a enormous TV with DVD player. The kitchen is entirely equipped with a table that seats 6 and everything you should need including a coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, blender and microwave. The master bedroom is very huge with a king size bed, plenty of room for a pack n play, TV and private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a pyramid bunk bed (twin on top & full on bottom bunk ) with a TV. Outside there is a nice patio to savor the ocean breezes on. In the rear of the home there are tables and chairs on both levels, an outdoor shower, corn hole boards, colorful chairs on the front deck as well as a swing on the front of the home!
The upper level has carpet in the bedrooms only.. It has a roomy den with two couches (one is a queen sleeper couch), a flat screen T.V. set, DVD player and game system. The den opens into a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, blender, microwave and a sizable table that seats 8-10 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed, room for a pack n play, TV, dvd player and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a TV and the third bedroom has a pyramid bunk bed (twin on top & full on bottom bunk). There are balconies on the front as well as the back with tables and chairs to sit and appreciate.
Barefootin' is a reasonably priced convenient hideaway!!
Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am.
