Centrally located between the highways in Kill Devil Hills. Walk to the beach access and many of KDH's best eateries!

Other Things to Note:
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everybody can savor their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about family pets, infant gear and parking:

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is finished prior to check-in.

2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests:

If you are booking a flat for over 30 days, you will be included with the standard tenant package as required under Virginia law, and be required to acknowledge receipt of the same.
The terms of our Agreement will remain as agreed to on the booking platform, and anything implied under North Carolina state law.

Please note that the building has ring cameras monitoring and recording the exterior and common areas of the building at all times. There are definitely no cameras on or in the interior of any unit.

If you are traveling with a pet please inform your host prior to arrival. Our pet fee is $75 per pet, per week for up to 6 weeks. If you are traveling for longer than 6 weeks please inquire about the Long Term pet fee. Make sure to check the listing details to see if your property is pet friendly.

Our properties require Sojourn to collect the name and picture of government-issued photo ID for each guest. Sojourn, our guests and our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. This verification step keeps everybody safe and provides additional insurance on your stay. Please make sure this is finished prior to check-in.

For the comfort of our guests and team members, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not allowed inside or within thirty (30) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke your card can be charged, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and your security deposit will be forfeited. Sojourn will contact the booking service, terminate your stay and post the appropriate review.

Parties and events are stringently prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe, these devices can not record or decipher what you are saying they are only for monitoring noise. Noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are stringently enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or events a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation could be terminated without refund.

What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
* Infant Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
* Dental Floss
* Q-tips/Cotton Balls
* Diapers
* Pills
* Paper Towels/Tissues or excess toilet paper

3) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.

4) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

5) This home has a storage room which has bicycles, an additional refrigerator / freezer, various toys like cornhole, giant Jenga, beach toys, and more. There is a beach cart, cooler, and chairs as well.

About the Area

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is near the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Seaside Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Destination Fun and OBX Laser Tag. Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are also worth visiting.

Find your perfect rental:

• Summer is high season in the Kill Devil Hills area. To find the best value, shift your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
• In the Kill Devil Hills area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
