No keys to lose or return! Both entrances to the home provide secure keyless entry to the home with customized access code for each stay! No keys to carry and no need to take your Smartphone each time you walk the dog.

The home offers living space, a full kitchen, two bedrooms as well as two decks, an additional seating area under the home, and the back yard with a table and chairs for guest use.

The home is in a residential neighborhood with simple access to the Boat Launch on the sound and a paved path along Bay Drive for cycling/walking/running with a continuous view of the sound and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Quieter, residential neighborhood that is close to everything: mini golf, movies, shopping, grocery stores, and local eateries with an ample, secluded back yard (unfenced) for relaxing as well as two east facing decks for coffee and sunrise or evening relaxation with a glass of wine. Watch the sunset into the trees from the upper deck. If you want to fish or spend time at the beach, take advantage of parking at beach access at Avalon Pier (first come, first serve) or bring or rent a kayak or modest boat and use the soundside boat ramp access with parking. Bed linens and towels are included and beds are made for arrival. Off street parking for two cars (or one car and your modest boat), wifi, ceiling fans with overhead lighting in both bedrooms and the great room, as well as bedrooms with new memory foam queen beds, nighttime stands with lamps for reading, a closet to hang clothes and a dresser are offered for your comfort. The Outer Banks doesn't have the public transportation options you would find in the city, but we do have taxis, Lyft and Uber available.

Biking (bring yours or rent by the day/week from great local businesses) is also a great way to get around the island for everything from shopping trips to beach or pier visits and you can bring your own bicycles or rent through one of our gorgeous local stores!

Your rental includes complimentary use of the Nags Head YMCA for the whole family for your stay (a $95 value) with indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna as well as weightlifting and cardiovascular training equipment, racquetball court, exercise classes and water park access in season (May through early September). Please note that availability of this conveniences is subject to NC pandemic restrictions, so you should check with the YMCA or message us about current status, and realize this is subject to change between booking date and stay.

Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.

If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it.
