Updated poolside 1 bedroom condo unit, sleeps 4 (queen sleeper couch) at the Outer Banks Beach Club, an oceanfront family resort in Kill Devil Hills centrally located at milepost 9 on Beach Road (aka Va Dare Trail or Route 12). Resort has direct ocean access to a wide, lifeguarded beach and 3 pools, tons of amenities and activities . This 1st floor unit is poolside and the ocean access path is right behind the building - so THE BEST location!
All linens are included and bed is made up for your arrival. All towels are supplied, including beach/pool towels. Kitchen has starter dishwashing supplies. There is a midweek towel/sheet exchange and the washers and dryers are complementary.
Totally equipped kitchen has a dining table plus an additional long counter with stools which is laptop friendly - a great work area (if you must). Unit has a deck with a table and chairs that overlooks the pool. Or eat at the picnic tables located near the charcoal and gas grilles. Can walk to b/l/d eateries and nightlife music, and even to get pizza or ice cream!
An oceanside covered Pavilion with open sides has seating and picnic tables overlooking the beach and is a great spot for lunch or for those wanting to appreciate the ocean breezes and waves without the trek through the sand - especially nice for those with limited mobility. There are outdoor showers and each unit has a ground level locked storage area for your beach apparatus.
The Beach Club has more amenities and activities than any other OBX property!
-3 pools (2 outdoor and an indoor heated pool great for rainy days or a warm soak before bedtime), separate infant pools and multiple spas (jacuzzis) both indoors and outside for a bubbling soak.
-Full time Activities Director for pool and lawn games, activities and contests, different crafts for all ages, beach yoga, pool aquatics, live music, Bingo, informational talks and more - FUN FOR ALL AGES!
-Tennis/pickleball court, volleyball, shuffleboard, table tennis (ping pong), cornhole, fenced in playground for the young ones complete with a pirate ship, and a Clubhouse with complimentary DVDs, games and puzzles to play there or take back to the condo. Free and fast WIFI throughout the property and ‘intelligent’ TVs.
-Free golf passes for close by Seascape Golf Course in Kitty Hawk and only have to pay the $20 cart fee.
-Free YMCA passes for a exercise center with state of the art exercise and cardio machines, exercise classes (try something new?), skatepark, steam, sauna, and a lap pool - and they will even watch the kiddos while you work out.

The Office is on the property and open 7 days a week. Checkin is available 24 hours a day.
