We are passionate about the beach, coastal living and the opportunity to share the lifestyle we adore so much with our guests.
Our "Salt Box" style beach bungalow was constructed in 1982, is 950 square feet and features a loft. It sits on a private cut of property in a safe cul de sac with mostly year round residents.
The space is ideal for:
• Couples
• Modest active families or groups of friends
• 5 people comfortably, 6 people if ya'll get along well
Since we have had the Bungalow we have finished a lot of upgrades to the home that many of our guests appreciate. The huge outdoor shower with an upsized rain-shower head is highly exhilarating on hot summer days and feels spectacular after the beach. On the right days and at the right times, the french doors open up completely to the front deck which adds an airy flow and the feel of and indoor-outdoor living space. The kitchen was themed with a distressed nautical look, open cabinets and contains most of the necessities for a chef. Our favorite hang out area is the great room, which has an open set up, vaulted ceilings and a "BigAss" Brand Haiku Fan, which, feels hypnotic like the soft drone of a helicopter propeller.
To us, a very clean bungalow is of the utmost importance for our guests upon arrival. In fact, our bungalows have always had very high cleanliness standards and though cleaning + inspection process. Recently, we have taken our cleaning process to the next level by implementing recommended CDC guidelines. Between each guest stay our beach bungalows are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with EPA approved disinfectants on surfaces and common touch points.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and property. For those, that appreciate clean laundry, like us, we have a quality washer + dryer set up. Most beach gear and amenities are stored in the "sled shack" shed.
Interaction with guests
We are friendly and may say hello during your stay yet we do respect our guests’ privacy.
We also appreciate sharing our favorite local places to eat and things to do. We even created a guide that our guests have found helpful in planning their OBX adventure, after booking, just ask!

We appreciate our OBX bungalow, it's a great home yet, like most homes it is not ideal and not for everybody. We respect that folks have different preferences and world vistas. If your looking for a unique place and local experience in a great beach town to relax, spend time with adored ones, chill out, prepare and rest your head after the beach then the bungalow checks all the boxes. If you're seeking a ideal, flawless home or are super high maintenance, this is not the place for you.
Bringing your dog?
We adore dogs and are happy to have your four legged friends and family members at our bungalows. Just let us know you are bringing your dog and the pet fee is:
• $25 per nighttime per dog (Please ask if you have more than one dog)

Check Out Etiquette: We put a lot of time and effort to deliver great stays for our guests. If we find deliberate damage, disrespect or lack of cleanliness during the check out inspection, you will be charged fee's to compensate our cleaners and ensure the property is ready for guests.

- At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to inspire more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
