Then you'll want to book your stay at 'A Wave From It All' today! This 3 bedroom, 2 & ½ bath townhouse provides the luxury of being close to all the impressive attractions of the more populated area of the Outer Banks, while also being located in a peaceful community with exclusive amenities. Morning breakfasts can be adored from the picnic table on the fenced-in outdoor patio area -- ideal for your pup since this home is dog-friendly!. Take the kids to the community pool and splash pad or to the nearest beach access at E Ocean Bay Blvd -- only a 4 min. drive away! Later you and the rest of the family can opt for a fun-filled nighttime in while battling it out on the home foosball table, the outdoor cornhole game, plastic ax throwing, or the array of supplied board games!
As you enter the bottom level, you'll be greeted by a vivid splash of white paint, accentuated with coasted blue and teal hues spread through the decor. A Wave From It All embodies the beach aesthetic! The mermaid on the outside of the townhome makes it conveniently identifiable as a one-of-a-kind oceanside treasure. The inside decor features all things coastal -- from a vintage lifeguard wall art piece to lighthouse lamps and beautiful sea turtle pieces. The kitchen has white appliances and cabinets that only add to the brilliant ambiance of light paints and natural light of the home. There is an instant pot included, so you can make the tastiest dishes at home when you don't feel like taking the group out to eat. Please don't worry about seating -- the expandable dining room table for 6 and additional bar seating for 4 provide plenty for the entire family!
The living room has a intelligent TV with cable for countless viewing options and a sleeper couch for additional space. The chair, teal couch, and loveseat provide comfortable seating for 6. You'll appreciate the abstract-painted coffee table with swirling hues of blue that instantly catch your eye. There's a convenient half bath for when everybody is hanging out downstairs. Step out back and soak in the gorgeous flora that surrounds the fenced-in patio area. The possibilities are endless for this area -- sear up some seafood from a charcoal or gas grille, dine at the outdoor picnic table, or just kick back on the bench and Adirondack chairs.
The mid-level holds all 3 bedrooms of the home. The master has a king-size memory foam bed with a 55” TV with Roku and an en suite bathroom with a cavernous tub (and an fashonable teak bathtub caddy and pillow for spa-level self-care!), separate shower, and double sink. The second bedroom holds a full-size bed and a mounted TV with Roku. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on bottom, twin on top, and a separate twin at the end -- it can comfortably sleep 4 total! If you have a lot of kids in your group, they'll adore the slumber events they're able to throw in this room. They can tell fun stories or watch their favorite shows on the mounted TV and Roku! The full and bunk room share the hall bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Lastly, the mid-level holds the laundry closet with a supplied washer and dryer, accepting you to freshen up your groups' threads with ease!
Venture up to the top level and you'll find the great room with a fold-down futon that provides additional sleeping, a sizable wooden tic tac toe game, board games, an indoor fireplace, and a separate workstation with desk and rolling chair! How to get the best rental experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Summer is high season in Kill Devil Hills. To find the best value, try shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Kill Devil Hills area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
How to choose the perfect rental home in Kill Devil Hills:
- Choose your dates and spending budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. BB47 - A Wave From It All has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- If there's a certain Kill Devil Hills destination you are crazy about, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Know before you go:
- We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
- At Check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Be respectful. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
