Imagine sitting on your front porch in a rocking chair, listening to the waves crashing on the beach. This lovingly restored and charmingly appointed, 1970’s beach box will transport you back to the good ol’ days while providing you all the amenities you want in your home away from home in the Outer Banks.

This three-bedroom, two-bath bungalow is located just down the street from beach access and sits only 4 homes away from the ocean. Appreciate a view of the waves from the front porch!

Equipped with cable, WIFI, flat screen TVs (4), an broad front porch, outdoor living spaces, a well-outfitted kitchen, and a washer and dryer, Tommy Tautog’s has everything you need to appreciate painless beach living except your bathing suits and beach towels! Other linens (linens, bath towels and washcloths) are supplied by an independent vendor – the beds will be made when you arrive!

While the proximity to the beach is elegant, you’ll also find that this little gem on Walker Street offers simple access to the Avalon Pier and other great local attractions as well.

Kill Devil Hills is home to this cottage. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Avalon Fishing Pier and Paradise Fun Park. Children at Play Museum and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are also worth visiting.
