A Quaint Condo in an Unbeatable Location
Thanks to 'Chiller Whale', you can afford an Outer Banks hideaway even with a smaller family! Immerse yourself in a casual state of mind in this comfortable, gorgeously decorated condo with modern amenities. This condo is in the centrally located Sundune Village, close to stores, eateries, and local attractions but conveniently within walking distance of the beach! In fact, the E. Martin Street Beach Access is only about 500 feet from the Sundune Village complex, meaning your family can dip their toes in the sand after a short 3-min. walk! Sundune Village offers great outdoor amenities for guests including a enormous community pool with plenty of calming lounge chairs so you can effortlessly work on your tan or read your favorite book after going for a dip in the water. Behind the pool, a nice yard area features outdoor grilles and picnic tables so you can comfortably prepare up some burgers and hot dogs, or even your fresh catch of the day! A horseshoe pit is also available if you're feeling like some friendly competition!

As you enter Chiller Whale, you'll notice the kitchen offers plenty of counter space and all of the amenities you need to prepare your family's favorite meals. The kitchen bar offers additional counter prep space and also has seating for three. Right across the kitchen, a glass round dining table has seating for 4 and doubles as a great place to savor puzzles, cards, or board games. You will adore the sizable living area that lets in copious amounts of natural sunlight and features a comfortable egg chair, dark wooden coffee and end tables, and a huge blue couch that ideally complements the deep orange wall behind it. This cozy and colorful ambiance is all located around a cozy fireplace and huge TV with Roku, a DVD player, and stereo system. If you need more sleeping space, the couch converts into a queen sleeper couch. Down the hall, a stackable washer/dryer unit is conveniently located outside of the two bedrooms and a full-sized bathroom is accessible from the hall. The first bedroom features enchanting decorations, beachy wicker furnishings, and a relaxing queen bed. The king master suite with an attached full bath is the ideal place to relax and includes a TV and Roku. The best parts of your vacation will be stepping out onto the balcony where you'll be able to watch the sky change colors at dusk and dawn! The balcony faces south so if you look to the left you'll have a partial ocean view, ideal for sunrises over the Atlantic, and if you look right you'll get to see those charming OBX sunsets.

Some of the Finest Outer Banks Attractions -- No Car Necessary!
The close proximity to the beach isn't the only selling point for Chiller Whale. Some of the best OBX dining spots are a short walk away, including Daredevil's Pizza -- one of the best pies you'll find on the island! Another tasty choice within walking distance is Bonzer Shack. Their fish tacos with fried mahi-mahi are unbeatable! If you're looking for a good time in the evening, Bonzer Shack has that as well. It's a fashionable nightlife spot for both locals and tourists with a sizable, enclosed yard outback. Some nights, they even host DJs and live bands!

While you certainly don't HAVE to bring a car to appreciate many attractions in Kill Devil Hills, we still want to mention some cant-miss places to check out that are just a bit further than walking distance! The first and most famed has to be the Wright Brothers Memorial. Kill Devil Hills is where the Wright Brothers took their first flight and the fun in this area has been soaring ever since. Learn all about it when you visit the interactive museum. In the mornings, head over to Bob's Grille for a breakfast of champions! Pro tip: if you're super hungry you can try their dozen-egg omelet, but we bet you won't finish it. Prove us wrong! For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with a burger from Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint -- all their delicious burgers are made from 100% wagyu beef. The Outer Banks Brewing Station offers fun for the entire family! They have cornhole and acoustic performances in the large outdoor fenced-in area some evenings from 6-9 PM and live bands for the adults from 10 PM to 2 AM on the weekends (pending seasonal availability)!
