All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

  • Booking in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.   • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
