As you pull into the Cambridge Cove neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean Island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and create a awesome first impression of your Outer Banks vacation home.

This community is widely known for appreciating sunset viewing and peaceful visiting. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this outstanding resort include a lazy river, shining pools, a fun splash pad with various water features tons of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for calming. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a exercise center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and exercise center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier ideal for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.

This pretty 3 story townhome will be an instant hit with the entire group for the privacy it offers all of you. Both Queen bedrooms include their own private bath. You also can appreciate a true rarity on the Outer Banks - your own private garage! In addition, both En Suites, as well as the living area, include delightful outdoor seating options! Eat your meals al fresco! Or perhaps simply savor a glass of wine or cup of coffee, or a few moments of peaceful conversation.

Enter the first level of your vacation home through the garage, and on the first level you will find two Queen En Suite bedrooms. On the second level, in true Outer Banks fashion, is the roomy living area which flows right into the dining area and kitchen. A warm, gorgeous gathering space, the family will all savor hanging out together over a meal, morning coffee, or a fun movie nighttime in the open great room!

Sit out on the balcony in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs and enjoy discussing the day's fun and the evening's plans!

Every member of the family can find something to enjoy here! If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the handsome Kill Devil Hills beaches.

The entire group will enjoy a bright and sunny vacation at Cambridge Cove!

Mermaid Manor is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $135, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

This property has 3 parking spots for guests.

**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 3 to May 19. Beginning May 24, the pool will be open daily and close on September 30 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is near the beach.   • In the Kill Devil Hills area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • To get the best rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kill Devil Hills vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
