The close by public sound access on Canal Drive is the ideal place for launching kayaks to discover the marshes and wildlife of Colington Creek. The public beach access at 1st Street is only a 6-min. bicycle ride away, and also provides complimentary parking for guests who'd prefer to drive.
Located at Milepost 7.5, LunaSea is really in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. You'll be within a mile radius of grocery stores, a movie theater, mini golf and marvelous dining options including The Jolly Roger and Goombays Grille & Raw Bar. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is also close by - you can even get there on bicycles using the bicycle path that connects 1st Street to Colington Road.
Can’t stay an entire week? LunaSea is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-nighttime minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.
