You'll Always Be “At Ease” When You Vacation In This Beach Cottage
If you've been dreaming about the Outer Banks, make your dreams come true in this semi-oceanfront bungalow that sits right on the “beach road” and offers freshly modernized decks and a Crow's Nest with bespoke Adirondack chairs and expansive vistas of the Atlantic. With plenty of living space, Private Pool,* and a huge fenced-in backyard, At Ease is ideal for your family! At less than 200-feet (a 1-min. walk) from the closest public beach access, it will be simple to spend a lazy afternoon splashing in the waves and tanning in the sand before unwinding in your beautiful beach bungalow.

On the top level, a cavernous living area with ocean vistas, plenty of natural light, and cathedral ceilings welcome you into your week of relaxation. Feel at ease in the newly refreshed reclining chair or ottoman or allow yourself the ultimate beach escape in the brand new reading nook. The comfortable kitchen with stainless steel appliances is ideal for chefs of all skill levels to whip up their favorite seafood masterpieces! The kitchen island offers bar seating for 4 with new bar stools and the adjoining dining area doubles as the ideal spot for breaking out your favorite board game for a little family-friendly competition. A convenient half-bath keeps everybody cozy on this level. When it's time for an ocean breeze, step out onto the newly updated deck with bespoke Adirondack chairs for the ultimate relaxation experience.

Head downstairs to the mid-level and you will find all 4 bedrooms, each with brand new comforters and freshly painted furnishings. Two Queen Bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill full bathroom. A bedroom with a Twin Bed with a trundle and another Queen Bedroom share a second Jack-and-Jill full bathroom.

After a long day of playing in the surf, head back to the home and rinse off in the enormous outdoor shower. Take a dip in the Private Pool* and savor an evening under the stars with the outdoor fire pit. In the dry entry under the carport, you will find the conveniently located laundry area with a washer and dryer, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. While you're there, take advantage of the freshly expanded picnic area. Grille up the day's catch for everybody to appreciate under the new upsized Edison bulb string lights that surround the entry under the carport. Whether you're looking for fun, relaxation, or both, come find yourself At Ease!

Walk to Great Eateries and Attractions
Located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, At Ease's great location makes it painless to walk to eateries and local attractions. A mere 200 feet to the north you find the brand new brewery and tasting room, Swells'a Brewing Beer Company (freshly opened Summer 2021). Two hundred feet in the opposite direction you can conveniently walk to Kill Devil Grille – a favorite restaurant of locals and visitors alike. Just down the side road, you can find another fave, Ladles Soups, featuring the best soups, salads, and sandwiches on the beach! A short drive away are Mama Kwan's Tiki Bar & Grille, Miller's Seafood & Steak House, Stack'em High Pancakes, Dirty Dick's Crab House, & more! Easily shop for all the supplies you'll need during your trip at the close by Food Lion, Harris Teeter, or Publix supermarkets.

A couple of miles to the south, cast a line from the Nags Head Fishing Pier or visit Jockey's Ridge State Park and climb the tallest sand dune on the Atlantic coast. Head a mile to the north and stop by the Wright Brothers National Monument to learn about America's history of aviation and the first powered flight that occurred right off the local sand dunes! Afterward, swing by Lost Treasure Golf to try your luck at a fun treasure-themed mini-golf course or, if it's raining, catch the latest Blockbuster at the close by movie theater.
