Centrally located on a peaceful street in Kill Devil Hills, you can walk to eateries, shopping, and the beach! Did we mention Fido? Bring your favorite family dog and let him savor a week at the beach too, or let them enjoy the fenced in back yard! Take the kids on a bicycle ride along the neighborhood and you can even ride bicycles to public tennis courts, skate park, and the Wright Memorial National Park for history, bicycle paths and expansive ocean vistas from the top of the monument. Take a day trip to the 4-wheel drive area for a Wild Horse Tour, or tour Manteo to the south for the North Carolina Aquarium, the Lost Colony outdoor drama, and a cozy oceanside village day.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Kill Devil Hills.
