The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood loaded with great amenities for families. Take a right out of the driveway and walk down to Hayman park (1 block down on a peaceful residential street - no busy roads to cross)Take a left out of the driveway to the bay front gazebo and flex path and appreciate the sunsets (2-min. walk).
To get to the beach (driving recommended) take a right out of the driveway and drive to the stop sign at the end of Hayman. Go straight across and there is complimentary beach parking right there!

Kill Devil Hills is home to this vacation home. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Monument to a Century of Flight are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Paradise Fun Park and Children at Play Museum. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting.

Cost saving strategies:
- In the Kill Devil Hills area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Kill Devil Hills area. To find the best rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
