Banks on Bay is a well-maintained, pet-friendly home located on a peaceful soundside street just four tons back from the pristine Kitty Hawk Bay. The backyard is entirely fenced-in, providing an broad outdoor play area that the entire family will savor, especially the four-legged members. The top-level deck features a porch swing where guests can sit back and admire the elegant sound vistas. Take a short walk to Bay Drive and where you'll find a multi-use path ideal for walking, running, cycling or taking your furry friends for a walk around the neighborhood. Guests can also use the close by public sound access for launching kayaks and SUP's. The access includes a pier with gazebo - the ideal place for watching the dazzling waterfront sunsets in the evenings.
Inside, relax in the roomy and comfortably furnished great room. The open-concept layout is ideal for gathering and includes a game table where you can play chess or work on puzzles. There's even a gas fireplace to keep you warm and comfortable during the off-season. When you're not dining out at one of the marvelous close by eateries, prepare meals at home in the completely outfitted kitchen. The island provides plenty of prep space and includes bar seating for three. The mid-level consists of three bedrooms, including the king primary with ensuite bath. Two additional queen bedrooms on this floor share a Jack-and-Jill bath, and a second ensuite downstairs is ideal for guests seeking additional privacy. This room is equipped with a mini-refrigerator and microwave and includes a full bath - the ultimate ground level getaway!
When it's time to hit the beach, take a bicycle ride or short drive to the Hayman Blvd. public access less half a mile away, where's there's plenty of complimentary parking. Sidewalks and close by pedestrian crosswalks make it simple to discover the area on foot or by bicycle. Within a half mile radius you'll find Avalon Fishing Pier, the Front Porch Cafe, Wawa, Target, a movie theater and dining options including Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar and Chili Peppers Coastal Grille.
