This newly remodeled two-bedroom townhome in the Bermuda Bay community in the center of Kill Devil Hills offers fun for the whole family. In season, the on-site pool complex has shaded cabanas, a lazy river, and a waterslide, plus a volleyball court. The exercise center in the clubhouse is available year-round. The nearest beach access is a 10-min. bicycle ride or a two-min. drive from the home.
The space
The first level of living space (located on the second level of the home) offers two bedrooms each with an ensuite attached full bathroom. The master has a queen bed and balcony overlooking the courtyard and the second bedroom has a twin daybed with pullout trundle. The third level features the main living areas with an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a half bath and front and backside balconies.
Guest access
You can access all areas of the townhome except for the locked owner's closets.
Other things to note:

Our unit does not have an assigned parking space. Up to 2 cars can be accommodated, but one car must park in the driveway in front of the garage or in the garage and the second car must park in a space designated "Visitor." DO NOT PARK IN SPACES MARKED FOR OTHER UNITS. Towing is stringently enforced.

The following are prohibited by our HOA, and the rules are stringently enforced:

Towels drying on balcony
Beach chairs and coolers in front of garage doors
Bikes under stairwell
Trailers, boats, and jet skies

Guests are responsible for any fines incurred by us due to violations of these rules.

The pool facilities area open from May 3rd-Sept. 31st for 2024.

About the Area

Kill Devil Hills is home to this vacation home. Destination Fun and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Nags Head Woods Preserve. Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop and Paradise Fun Park are also worth visiting.

When to visit & When to book:

  • Summertime is high season in Kill Devil Hills. To get the best rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Kill Devil Hills attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • In the Kill Devil Hills area, The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Does your group require specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation.
