The Blue Palm II is an ideal vacation choice! This adorable beach bungalow offers a Hot Tub and landscaped yard. This attractively decorated beach home is located just 560 feet from the public 2nd street beach access and is close to numerous eateries and shopping areas.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a covered carport with picnic table, charcoal grille, bicycle rack, outside shower and 6-person hot tub. Parking for 2 cars and landscaped sodded yard. Inside you'll find a Master Bedroom with a full bed (no interior access to the top level) with private bathroom. Seating area with couch, flat-screen TV, foosball coffee table and racing arcade game. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Open great room with flat-screen TV and sound bar. Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining table seating 6 with side table seating 2 and deck access. King Bedroom with flat-screen TV and attached half bathroom, second King Bedroom with flat-screen TV, full hallway bathroom and a Bedroom with DuoBunk and flat-screen TV. Outside you'll find the gas grille, outside dining area, covered deck and sun deck.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this vacation home is near the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Outer Banks Mall and Outlets Nags Head.   • The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended.   • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Have a fantastic stay:

  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
