Welcome to Casa de la Luz. We are centrally located in Kill Devil Hills & have fast access to both the ocean & sound. We’ve created this two-bedroom upstairs apartment as a place for couples, remote workers, families & friends seeking some peaceful space to rejuvenate & relax. The octagon shape has been a symbolic architectural theme representing regeneration, rebirth & renewal. Come stay with us to relax & relax in this unique Outer Banks gem ready for you to appreciate & have fun at the beach.
We have included a private parking space for your convenience and key-less entry. The apartment is located on the second floor with a private entrance and no shared space. Guests will have private access to the apartment and savor the privacy of their own space and the huge wrap around porch. Inside you’ll discover a cavernous setup with comfortable decor, a living room, completely equipped eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and bedroom furnishings from Indonesia with a king-sized bed, reading chair and walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic bed and one closet for your belongings with a separate bathroom that has a bathtub/shower.
The living area is an open floor plan with tons of space to feel always connected. The living room area offers an awe-inspiring French style leather couch & side chair, an Ikea Poäng armchair and ottoman, two end tables, an Italian style work station with an iMac 27in computer and TCL • Roku TV 4K HDR enormous screen T.V.. Free WiFi and Netflix supplied.
The kitchen provides all the necessities you will need for your stay, including dining table & chairs, microwave, refrigerator, reverse osmosis drinking water to fill up your water bottles, a Ninja Coffee coffee maker with coffee and tea supplied, dishes, glassware, pots & pans, cooking silverware, silverware, and etc.
You’ll appreciate the space inside and out. The deck is a great place in the mornings for yoga and meditation and has a shaded area with a table and four chairs to sit and enjoy the view of the stars at nighttime with your favorite glass of wine. Our place is good for honeymooners, couples, families and friends who are looking for a peaceful place to relax and rejuvenate.
Guest access
Our home has two floors, we live on the first floor and the apartment is located on the second floor with a private entrance and no shared space. Guests will have private access to the apartment and enjoy the privacy of their own space and the sizable wrap around deck. We are located in a residential area and we ask that you be respectful.
Other things to note
Over the years, we have learned a lot about making our clients feel safe and having the ability to feel at home while staying with us. We are following an enhanced cleaning protocol and will continue to do so.

The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and has private entrance. We live in the downstairs apartment and respect your privacy, but here if you need us.

Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Paradise Fun Park and Children at Play Museum.
