Since opening in June 1995, The Pointe Golf Club has consistently provided unparalleled quality and service to both our golfers and guests with first-class course conditioning and beautifully appointed event rooms. Our facility showcases a classic, southern coastal design with an inviting bar and cozy brick fireplace. From any window, you can take in the majestic view of our 18-hole Championship golf course and stunning landscape with scenic pines, wax myrtles, and lush greens. Our brick patio wraps around the back of the clubhouse where you can enjoy our outside fireplace under an overhead pergola strung with cafe lights.
 
Our Clubhouse seats 125 indoors, with dance floor space, and additional seating outside. The rental fee includes all tables and chairs in the facility and on the patio. If larger accommodations are required, we have one frame tent, (30’ x 60’), that can accommodate 100 guests, including a dance floor. It can be rented for use right outside the clubhouse bar or on the private grounds of our vintage Tree House under a giant 200-year-old oak. You can even hold your Ceremony in front of this amazing tree.
 
The Pointe Golf Club even offers complete event packages so you can sit back and enjoy your event experience. From full planning to day of coordinating, to the photography to the DJ, we can do it all for you! Ocean Front Ceremony set-ups are available and then back to The Pointe Golf Club for your reception.

American Pie

It was 1978 when Eddie and Lou Miller first opened Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse. As a teenager, their son Brian spent his summers working in the restaurant, getting familiar with the family business. After college, Brian and his wife Beth came back to Kill Devil Hills and began working together at Miller’s. Brian and Beth officially purchased the restaurant from Eddie and Lou in 2007. A few years later they opened American Pie together, and both restaurants now carry on the Miller family tradition of quality, excellence and hospitality.

 

“I learned everything about the restaurant business from my parents,” Miller says. “They ran the business together for all those years, and now my wife and I are doing the same. “Throughout the summer, we’re feeding around 2,000 people a day in our two restaurants. It’s a challenge we embrace every season, and we get a lot of fulfillment from making it all work.”

 

The Millers focus on two main specialties: high quality foods and unparalleled service. Seafood at Miller’s is fresh and locally caught, and they serve high-quality Angus beef, fresh pastas and homemade desserts. At American Pie, guests enjoy hand-tossed pizzas and homemade ice cream.

 

“We put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the products we bring in are top-notch,” Miller says. “Our customers know that when they visit our restaurants, they’ll be getting the quality and consistency they’ve come to know and love.”
