Molly Issacs of F2 Photographic Design is an award-winning photographer, to say the least. She specializes in family beach and home portraits and reunions.

Internationally known, Isaacs presents an impressive list of accolades, including 2008’s “Photographer of the Year“ award, named by Professional Photographers of America. That association also chose her, among only 14 worldwide, as a recipient of the Imaging Excellence Award. In addition to working with one of the most well-known and admired photographers in history, Ansel Adams, she’s done portraits of famous people like Meryl Streep and worked with an number of dignitaries as well, including Supreme Court Justices. She has won the “Oscar” of photography - the Kodak Gallery Award - 14 times.

Nevertheless, she seems unfazed by her celebrity and is as well known for her talent of putting all ages at ease as she is for her artistry and her skill at dealing with technical challenges like the ever-changing light on OBX beaches. Her desire is to bring the same world class quality found in her award-winning photographs to every portrait she creates, believing “there is no substitute for excellence.”

F2’s says it focuses its philosophy on its clients - providing them with “the highest level of friendly service,” as well as excellent photographs, along with a fun and memorable experience that sparks creativity. Portrait sessions are on the beach, usually in late afternoon, and last about an hour. F2 takes reservations for sessions and puts a lot of work into preplanning. And the work is guaranteed. Call anytime for reservations or use F2’s online form.

Large parties are also welcome, making it perfect for extended families to enjoy dining together on their Outer Banks vacation. Come on in and see for yourself why Miller’s Seafood & Steakhouse is more than just a great restaurant. It’s a tradition.

It was 1978 when Eddie and Lou Miller first opened Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse. As a teenager, their son Brian spent his summers working in the restaurant, getting familiar with the family business. After college, Brian and his wife Beth came back to Kill Devil Hills and began working together at Miller’s. Brian and Beth officially purchased the restaurant from Eddie and Lou in 2007. A few years later they opened American Pie together, and both restaurants now carry on the Miller family tradition of quality, excellence and hospitality.
